I was really looking forward to going to Denver from Chicago to meet up with Ish(Alvin), Zach, Balt and of course Jerry and Nicole.  I skipped the half day of work I had planned and got an earlier flight out with the crew already in the rental car we were able to check into our hotey early.  Some great Pho and off to the show!! We got the best spot up front and were ready for the Tale of Blucifer. They came out strong and the crowd reciprocated answering back with some strong woos during Sweaters for Strawmen. Shatter brought the jam and I thought maybe finish it at the end of the show, or maybe tomorrow.  A great set with great jams.  These guys have been playing great together and it was good to hear them sound so tight knowing they had new material planned for the night ahead.  

Second set started and I knew the sold out crowd was ready for a treat.  No tricks were necessary with the amount of time Dani put into writing the songs for this Tail(pun intended). It shows how much they know each other by the timing of the stop/starts.  They were able to slow it down and quiet the room until you could hear the bartender digging the scooper in for ice. Just an incredible night in the mile high city.  I can't wait to get out hiking on the horse trails with headphones on and get acquainted with the Tail of Blucifer.  Thanks Eggy for a wonderful time and I have so much gratitude for being able to live the life I love with everyone in that room that night.
