Everytime I show up to see Eggy things get better and better.  This was my third show and what a night.  I am new fan just seeing them for the first time at ACL in 2024.  I had heard through the Jam vine about their gigs and decided to walk into the covered Tito's stage area and was not disappointed.  Played some great orignal content and heard 2 great covers from Jimmy Eat and King Gizard.  Then later that night for a super intimate show at Antone's.  I was hooked after those two shows.  So natrually when I see them coming through the bay and I gathered some friends up and headed to Berkeley.  First off great venue not sure why I hadn't been to the cornerstone yet but impressed.  Eggy started off with One Stop which happened to be the opener from Antone's and set the mood for the night.  So rich and jammy.  Then the special guest was Grahame Lesh which of course I knew the dead conection having been a head way back in the good ol days (yes im an older new fan of eggy).  Then I hear the opening to what  I really couldn't believe was Cats in the Stars by yes my favorite band of all time JGB.   Fucking killed it!!!  really a beautiful vocial by Dani Battat.  Walked out for a smoke at the half thinking what could be next?  Set 2 kept the fun and music going as Jake tore it up with Jerry's strat Alligator.  I must admit having been a huge Jerry fan it was a special night indeed.  Lucky to catch them at this stage.  I won't be missing any shows that come this way for sure now.  Thanks Eggy what a good night!
